What Size Dog Pod Should I Buy For My Dog?

There are two sizes to choose from:

- The Travel Dog Pod

- The XL Pet Pod

The Travel Dog Pod is suitable for use as a bed and car seat and is intended for pups no larger than 16.5 kg.

If it is only going to be used as a car seat, then you could fit a slightly larger dog in there, but as a bed they will likely need more legroom.

For example, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Female whippet or a Golden Doodle would all be great examples of pups who use our pods in the car.

However, for a permanent bed, they may want the XL Pet Pod.

The XL Pet Pod is suitable for dogs up to 60 kg

Can I travel with two dogs in the Pod?

Yes, you can!

As long as both dogs can comfortably fit in the pod, we provide two safety leashes with every order, so you have all the attachments needed to travel with two dogs without needing to purchase another strap.

Do I Have To Use The Isofix Feature?

Not at all! The Isofix hooks simply give you an additional option for securing your Dog Pod to the car seat.

It’s completely up to you whether you use them or not.

Your order will still include all the standard straps for the usual setup—nothing changes unless you want it to.

Can the Dog Pod Be Used in Both the Back and Front Seat?

Yes, it can! The Dog Pod can be easily installed in both the back and front seats. The setup remains the same: simply attach the strap around the rear folding seat to secure it in place. This ensures your pet stays safe and comfortable no matter where you place the Pod.

This is the ultimate dog bed, safe, secure and unbelievably comfortable. The XL pod is a perfect size for our two whippets to snuggle up together whilst travelling. I have just purchased the hazelnut replacement skin which is a fabulous colour, particularly for the summer months, alongside the original brown pod I have which is great for those wet and muddy winter days. So useful being able to buy just a cover to have a spare on hand when needed. The beds are an investment but entirely worth it to have happy and secure dogs whilst travelling. Our whippets always sleep soundly in the bed whilst travelling which shows how immensely comfortable and secure they feel in the pod.

Looking forward to our first trip to the South of France in comfort! Realised our car doesn’t have isofix in the front, so would be useful to have a seatbelt clip included on the isofix strap and something to pass the seat belt through around the front and side. Can’t travel her in the back seat as is full with XL dog pod (for mum) and a crate for another leaky pup! Love how it looks and with a waterproof blanket in it, (just in case)the pod looks really cosy…she loved it first time and settled down in seconds! Just after I had set it up I was out of the room disposing of the box and when I came back the Mum was neatly curled up fast asleep already in the pod, so I think that was a ‘YES’ from everybody!! I think the Hazelnut is a good colour looks very glam but practical for mud colour too. Thank so much for all the help getting the right one!
